What a great quote and photo to launch this website and blog. (Thank you, WordPress designers!) My first work of fiction, due out on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing later this spring, is Dune Girl, a beachy version of the Old Testament romance of Ruth and Boaz. Set in the Indiana Dunes, a magnificent natural area just outside Chicago, Dune Girl is a story of love, redemption and the blessing of starting over … and over and over.
Who doesn’t need that kind of story? The longer I live — moving from childhood to adulthood to parenthood — I have finally figured out that new starts aren’t limited to teens and 20 somethings. Fresh starts never stop! I’m thinking it’s God’s way of making sure we actually notice the equally fresh blessings He pours out on a daily basis.
So, whether you’re launching a website and a new facet to your writing career (like me!) or are in the midst of a job change, a move or a new romance, feel the joy more than the fear! Like the quote says, you’re not alone. God’s always at your side. Fellow believers are there, too, rooting for you. Enjoy whatever new twist your journey brings today! Be blessed and blissful!
