“Fine Things are reservoirs for the heart.” — Fennel Hudson, British author

I never actually liked the pink pony. It was plastic. Too plastic. Its size made it awkward to store. Too awkward. And, it was really pink. Too pink.
No, I didn’t like it. But, it was sure hard to see it go into the last basket of toys to leave our house.
Somebody must’ve liked that plastic pink pony….

I have saved some of my children’s favorites for grandchildren to have to play with at grandma’s house.😊

We have, too! Well, more the books than the toys. I think the girls were just really ready to see this bit of stuff go. (The china tea sets are staying perpetually…)

Sigh. Yes. And, it’s odd how one item can pack so much emotion, isn’t it? I never thought it would be THAT one that would really get to me. 🙂
