Thanks! It was a fun one to write. I was just really surprised that there is no way to legally marry at the moment in a whole lot of places. I doubt that has ever happened before in such a widespread way. My grandfathers were both pastors and I know they married a fair share of couple in their living rooms. Times have changed. 🙂

I suspect this has happened somewhere. Here, though, couples have literally not been able to get a license for more than a month. In the scope of things, it’s not that big of a deal. But, it feels weird that we can still get drive-thru tacos, but something as fundamental as marriage is on indefinite hold. We humans have our ways! 🙂
