Gabe’s parting thought from chater 16, “Not telling her is OK. It is. She will never need to know. Never.” was haunting me as I began reading this week’s chapter. I keep waiting for a Caroline Bingley type character to pop out of the woodwork and maliciously try to put a wedge between Allie Elizabeth Bennett and Gabe.
